After Senator Bernie Sanders showed up at yesterday’s inauguration looking a bit, shall we say, casual, the photo spawned a thousand memes, with the Progressive octogenarian popping up in every famous shot imaginable. Of course the Beatles were part of this, so Michael Bleicher and I assembled some of the best examples. Add more in the comments.

In other political/Beatles crossover, I was reading the other day about “attorney John Eastman” who advised VP Mike Pence that he could reject the states’ certified electoral votes, and thought, oh what the heck? But it’s some other attorney John Eastman.
I thought the exact same thing, Kristy. I was like “Paul’s brother-in-law?” I guess I really do think about the Beatles too much!
I like the Mad Day out meme. It really looks like Ringo is admiring those mittens!
