Friend Levi points me to his friend’s blog, “They May Be Parted.” I like how particular it is—it’s devoted to the Get Back sessions.
Hey, that’s me! Thanks very much for the mention. I had a nice spike in traffic since yesterday, and happy to see it’s from here. Beer’s on me sometime for you guys and Levi over some All Things Must Pass outtakes…

Hey Dan, what outtakes besides “Beware of ABKCO” would you recommend?
Great site, btw.
Thanks for the kind words, Michael.
When you say outtakes, you mean All Things Must Pass specifically? If so, you mentioned the only one I ever listen to (“Beware of ABKCO”).
But just going through A/B Road (and I”m only a few days in) has been illuminating for what George brings. Already heard a good 45 min worth of the band trying to figure out “All Things Must Pass” (the song) alone (actually, the likely topic of my next post), along with some quick hits of some other songs that would eventually show up on the album.

Here is an interesting rarity…
Everyone knows the Beatles version of Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby, their cover of the Carl Perkins tune, but did you know that Carl Perkins took it from Rex Griffin?
Here is Rex Griffin’s version from the 1930s:
